This document aims to assist the users with switching between optimization scenarios using the Thickener Operator Screen v2.0 created to meet the control room operators' needs when using the Thickener App. This feature allows operators to select and apply different optimization scenarios to improve the performance of the process

To access this feature, you need to first login to the IntelliSense.io Thickener App and click on the thickener icon on the left side in the Thickener App. A drop down box will appear with a list consisting of "Operator" and "Performance", you then select "Operator" and this will take you to the Operator Screen v2.0. Within the Operator Screen v2.0, there is a dedicated section or module at top for optimization denoted by the name "Recommendation Strategy", operators can navigate to this section as shown below. Once on this section, the operator will have access to the recommendation strategies for the multiple units shown on the Operator Screen v2.0 UI, the operator can then click on the recommendation strategy for the thickener unit of interest to switch between the optimization scenarios.

The Operator Screen v2.0 UI will display a list of available optimization scenarios. These scenarios are pre-configured options or ones that have been created or customized by system administrators or engineers. This choice depends on the current operating conditions, goals, or constraints.

Once the strategy has been the changed, the new strategy will be updated within the next two cycles for the selected thickener unit. The operator can also monitor the progress of the optimization in real-time through the Operator Screen v2.0 UI. They can observe changes in process variables or any other relevant data.
