What's Improved!

brains.app Real-Time AI Platform

brains.app serves as our central platform and we are constantly improving its environment to provide a greater user experience. Here are the latest updates on brains.app:

  • Metric Administration - Login Changes

With the latest update to brains.app, users now can see log changes (Create, Edit, Delete) to any metric either by manual interaction or batch. In this way, users will have more transparency on who created or made changes to a metric which helps them make better decisions or ask questions about specific metric changes.

  • Administration - Alert Setup

Additionally, considering that alerts are shared with other people on the mine site - not only admin users, having a 'Description' field when setting an 'Alarm' will allow a better understanding of what is coming out from that "Alarm". So, now alert subscribers have more information about it (e.g. know the date or shift when a fine fraction over 17% is predicted to reach the plant and what this means), especially when receiving via an email.

Grinding Optimization App

IntelliSense.io’s Grinding Optimization Application uses real-time Scientific AI to guide metallurgists and operators to achieve optimal performance by operating at improved process variable setpoints. Here are the latest updates on brains.app:

  • Cyclone Cut size (Proof-of-Concept)

In a bid to enhance circuit performance, a recent development focuses on delivering real-time performance insights for the Grinding circuit. This initiative aimed to bolster overall circuit efficiency, particularly downstream processes such as flotation.

It provides live KPI feedback on the Grinding circuit's performance, offering dynamic insights and enabling timely adjustments. Moreover, the live feed variable input directly integrates with the Flotation App, ensuring seamless coordination between the two critical components of the processing chain.

In the subsequent phase of process refinement, a PSD Virtual Sensor was introduced and tested on a Bakyrchik cyclone cluster (image below). This sensor serves to monitor particle size distribution in real-time, offering valuable insights into process dynamics.

The outputs generated by the sensor were meticulously validated against client data, ensuring accuracy and reliability. These outputs are conveniently displayed on a dedicated dashboard, providing operators with actionable information to optimize operational efficiency and maximize throughput.

What's Fixed?

In our continued effort to make brains.app the most reliable platform, we took extra focus on eliminating key bugs. We have fixed the below bugs on brains.app:

Here are some of the top fixes:

Admin

  • Metric changes are being reflected in existing widgets

Widgets

  • The grid widget is displaying the correct values on the screen.

  • The alert status is working as expected when the page is refreshed.

  • Two-state indicator widget is now showing the correct status.

Material Inventory

  • The user is now able to save a new group on the Material Inventory screen.

  • It's not possible to save a duplicate Material Inventory group through the "Unsaved changes" dialog.
