Metric Tagging

Metric Tag = Letter 1Letter 2 Letter 3-State1State 2-Model

Note: '--' is not possible and so where blank 0 is used, as a result 0 cannot be used as a state or model

Example:

Angle (Lifter Anticlockwise) (Min Liner Wear)

Description 1 =Angle = Letter 1 =A
Description 2 = Lifter = Letter 2 = LF
Description 3 = Anticlockwise = Letter 3 = A
State 1 = Min = Letter 4 = MIN
State 2 = N/A = Letter 5 = 0
Model = Liner Wear = Letter 6 = LW

Final TAG: ALFA-MIN0-LW

Asset/Metric Tagging

Final Asset TAG= Customer-Asset Number-Asset Type-Asset number- Metric Tag
Note: '--' is not possible and so where blank 0 is used, as a result 0 cannot be used as a state or model.

Example:
Customer: This is the mine site code name

  • Phoenix Mine PN

Asset Number, Type and Number are usually inherited from the customers P&ID, for example:

  • 100-CV-001

  • 200-MIL-002

For Areas e.g. 410 -- is not possible and so 0 is used

  • 410-0-0

Final TAG:

  • PN-410-0-0-DOFL-0-MB

  • PN-100-CV-001- ALFA-MIN0-LW
